What this covers

This policy explains what information Getaway Ridge ("we", "us") collects when you visit getawayridge.com or book the cabin, how we use it, and your choices. We keep it simple: we only collect what's needed to take and manage a booking, or to understand how the site is used.

Information we collect

• Booking details — name, contact details, dates, and payment information, collected and processed by our booking partner, Hospitable, when you make a reservation. Payment card data is handled by their payment processor (Stripe) and is never stored on this site.
• Inquiries — anything you send us by email or through the contact form.
• Usage data — anonymous, aggregated data about how the site is used (pages viewed, approximate location, device type) via analytics, if enabled. This does not identify you personally.

How we use it

• To process and confirm your reservation.
• To respond to your questions and provide stay-related support.
• To comply with legal and tax obligations (e.g. lodging taxes).
• To improve the site and understand what guests are looking for.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers needed to run the booking (Hospitable, Stripe) and, where required, with authorities for legal or tax purposes.

Cookies

The booking widget and (if enabled) analytics use cookies and similar technologies to keep your booking session working and to measure site usage. You can block or clear cookies in your browser at any time; booking will still work, though some convenience features may not.

Data retention

Booking records are retained as long as needed to manage your stay, honor refunds or disputes, and meet tax record-keeping requirements, after which they are deleted.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing us. We'll respond within a reasonable timeframe.
